MEMBERSHIP
The Gordon name is synonymous with the rich history of Scotland and dates back to the 11th Century. It
is a name to be proud of and deserves your interest and support. The Board of Directors of the House of
Gordon USA invites you to join our Clan Society. You will be a part of both the national and local societies
and have a chance to contribute to our Scotland Charity – The Gordon Highlander Museum in Aberdeen,
Scotland as well as The “Charles O. Gordon Memorial Scholarship Fund” which provides scholarships to
aid our youth (and the young at heart) in further studies of the Scottish arts and education.
Membership dues are $25.00 and payable July 1 annually.
Each member will receive a Membership Certificate and card. All family members are encouraged to
participate in our activities. The National Board expects to send a minimum of two
newsletter/communications per year. Your local division may also have a newsletter that you will receive.

- All persons bearing the name of Gordon.
- All persons bearing one of the names of a Sept of the Gordons.
- Descendants of the Gordons or their Septsmen
- Those who served in the Gordon Highlanders and their families.
- Supporters of the Chief including those who wear the Gordon Tartan with his permission.
- All those with a special knowledge and interest in the Gordon history and tradition, who wish to
take out a bond of manrent. - All who are interested in membership in the House of Gordon are Welcome.
