Gordon's Crow About Success 2010!
the Hermitage Marching Panthers on the Drum Line's 1st Place as BEST PERCUSSION in the
Gator Bowl Marching Band Competition!
Aaron has led the Hermitage Drum Line for two years as
Drum Captain and has been instrumental in their development as one of the best high school
percussion sections.

Congratulations to Allison “Cat” Baker, of Virginia, daughter of Geof and
Beverly Baker, on being accepted to the Virginia Commonwealth
University School of Arts. VCUarts is ranked the #1 public university school
of arts and design in the country by U.S. News & World Report, and the
competition to get accepted is very stiff.  We wish Cat the best as she joins this
    prestigious school!

Congratulations to Aaron Todd who helped to lead his MCJROTC
Unit to 4th place in the Marine Corps Region One Championship
held March 19-20, 2009 in Gloucester, Massachusetts. Aaron turned
in the top individual performance in the physical fitness
competition and shot at expert level in the marksmanship
    competition.

The Hermitage team was a young team with the
majority of the team being LE1 (freshmen). Major
kudos to Aaron and the rest of  the leadership team
    for mentoring them so well!

Aaron also scored a perfect  500 in PFT and is
the top ranking cadet in Region One in
Physical Fitness.
(see plaque above) Only one
other cadet in Region Three scored as high.
Aaron has scored a perfect 500 on the PFT each
year.
Aaron was recognized as the top cadet
in the USA in physical fitness.

Congratulations to Aaron Todd on being named by the Glen Allen Ruritan Club as one of their
two sponsored delegates to the Chesapeake District American Patriot Conference for 2010.

The other delegate is his classmate Amanda Ju; both are leaders in the MCJROTC at Hermitage High in
Henrico, VA.  This program is intended to foster future leaders for the state and nation by giving leaders
at the high school level the opportunity to learn more about our heritage, government and leadership.

Congratulations to
Aaron Todd on completing the Iron Man Competition 24 April 2010. Aaron was
asked to compete with the Marine Corps recruiters as part of their recruiting stations team, which for a
poolee is a distinct honor.

Congratulations to Aaron Todd on being
named as the Outstanding LE 4 Cadet for
his unit, and also being awarded the
    Marine Corps League "Chesty" Puller
Award. Aaron was also named as the
    Honor ROTC Cadet for Hermitage.

At the Band Awards, Aaron was recognized
as the best marching percussionist and
    for his two years
as Drum Captain.
